Export

Exporting goods means sending goods that are produced domestically, but then sold to customers residing in other countries. The export procedure entails the application of all exit formalities, including, where applicable, the payment of export fees and the presentation of export licenses 

   Import

Importing goods means bringing in something from another country – and it passes through the customs clearance process on arrival. Import trade is regulated by customs authorities. They control the flow of goods and are responsible for collecting duties and taxes

   Agents

A clearing agent is a person who, for gain, acts for an importer, exporter, manufacturer or the holder of a license; or holds himself out as carrying on the business of acting for importers, exporters, manufacturers or holders of licenses; in performing any function under, or complying with any requirement of the Customs and Excise Act.
